Home

Is the first conversation confidential and free?
Yes. The first WhatsApp conversation is free, fully confidential and carries no obligation. Its purpose is to understand the situation and point you to the right next step.
Do you treat anyone against their will?
No. At Restart the decision comes from the person, because the change that lasts is the one a person chooses. If your loved one refuses treatment, our Quiet Homes program helps the family respond in ways that increase the chance they will accept help.
Where is Restart located?
Our treatment base is in Alanya, Antalya province, Türkiye. We also run online programs for Arabic speakers across the Gulf, the Arab world and Europe.
Does the team speak Arabic?
Yes. The clinical team is fully Arabic-speaking and understands Arab family culture and values.

Our Story

When was Restart founded?
Restart began in November 2019. Clinical services launched in early 2022, the in-person model in Alanya in 2023, and the Restart clinic opened in 2025.
Who founded Restart?
Restart was founded by Coach Saad Al-Mahmoud — a recovery specialist, Net Institute-trained recovery coach and ISSA-certified nutrition specialist, currently completing a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. He came to this work through his own recovery.
Why Alanya?
Alanya is a calm Mediterranean coastal city with a conservative character, many mosques and social values close to Arab culture — away from big-city pressure, offering privacy and a familiar setting for reflection, worship and calm.
How do you protect privacy?
Complete confidentiality is a contractual commitment signed by every team member. No information is shared with the family without the participant's consent.

Our Approach

How long does addiction treatment take?
It depends on the case. Residential care usually lasts 2–4 months, and online programs run for 100 days. We recommend at least 100 days; the ideal is six months including follow-up.
Do you use medication?
A psychiatrist may prescribe supportive medication when clinically needed, within an integrated plan and with medical follow-up. No medication is used without assessment.
What is dual diagnosis?
It means having a substance use disorder alongside another mental health condition such as depression, anxiety or PTSD. Treating both together is central to our approach.
Can addiction be treated without a hospital?
Many mild to moderate cases can be treated through outpatient or online programs. Some, however, need medical supervision for withdrawal — particularly with alcohol and sedatives. The assessment determines the safe path.

Our Team

Is there a psychiatrist on the team?
Yes. Medical care is overseen by addiction psychiatrists, and every participant can be assessed by a psychiatrist as part of the assessment phase when needed.
How many specialists follow each participant in residence?
Our residential staffing ratios: one psychotherapist for every four participants, and one recovery coach per participant.
Can I choose my specialist?
We recommend the most suitable team after assessment and take your preferences into account wherever possible.

Programs

How do I know which program is right for me?
The path is set after assessment, based on severity, any co-occurring condition, detox needs, and your ability to travel and take time away. You can start with a free confidential WhatsApp conversation.
What's the difference between residential and outpatient?
In residential care the participant lives in a villa or suite with an intensive daily program and a team present throughout the day. In outpatient care they receive the full program in person in Alanya while living independently.
Can programs be combined?
Yes, and it's common: detox, then residence, then aftercare — with a family program running in parallel.
How much does addiction treatment in Türkiye cost?
Cost depends on the program, length and accommodation. Prices for the 100-Day Challenge programs are listed on their page; residential costs are provided after assessment in a confidential consultation.

Elite Residential

How long is the residential program?
Usually two to four months, preceded by a medical phase of one to four weeks when needed, and followed by follow-up and reintegration.
What does the program treat?
Alcohol, drug and prescription-medication addiction, behavioural addictions, and cases where addiction co-occurs with a mental health condition (dual diagnosis) such as anxiety, depression or trauma. Medically serious cases begin in hospital.
Is the accommodation private?
Yes. There are three options: a villa with open views and private pool, a private villa in nature, or a private sea-view suite — each with a personal companion throughout the program.
Can the family stay in touch or visit?
Yes. Families receive a weekly session with the case supervisor and a weekly report — with the participant's consent. Visits are coordinated with the team to support the plan.
How much does the Elite program cost?
Cost is shared after the first consultation and assessment, as it depends on length, accommodation and the medical phase. The package is all-inclusive of the listed services.

Outpatient Program

Who is outpatient care for?
For people who don't need round-the-clock supervision, can commit to an intensive schedule and prefer independent accommodation. The assessment confirms whether this path is safe and suitable.
Can the team help with accommodation?
Yes. Our coordination and logistics team helps with practical arrangements in Alanya.
How long is the outpatient program?
Length is set in the treatment plan after assessment. In general we recommend at least 100 days of care including follow-up.

Online Programs

Does online treatment work?
For mild to moderate cases, structured online care — regular sessions, follow-up and a support community — can be an effective option. More severe cases, or those needing supervised withdrawal, need in-person care; the assessment decides.
Are online sessions confidential?
Yes. Sessions are fully confidential and covered by the same confidentiality commitment as all our programs.
Which countries can I join from?
Anywhere. Programs are designed for Arabic speakers in the Gulf, the Arab world, Europe and beyond.

100-Day Challenge

What's the difference between Core and Plus?
Both run for 100 days. The difference is session count and follow-up: Core includes 2 assessment sessions, 3 individual and 36 group sessions; Plus includes a 5-session assessment, 18 individual and 36 group sessions, family sessions and a lasting support community.
Can I pay in my local currency?
Prices are in US dollars and can be shown in your currency at checkout. For payment options, contact us on WhatsApp.
What happens after day 100?
You leave with a clear relapse-prevention plan, follow-up continues after the program, and you can join our aftercare programs and support community.
Is the program suitable for behavioural addictions?
We have a dedicated behavioural-addiction path with an individual structure. Contact us and we'll guide you.

10-Day Personal Recovery Program

Who is the 10-day program for?
For anyone who wants a specialist assessment and a clear recovery plan before committing to a longer program, or who needs structured guidance to choose the right path.
Are sessions online?
Yes, sessions are held online, in complete confidence.
Can families use this program?
Families have a dedicated program with the same structure — Empower Families. See our family programs.

Private Sessions

Is the first conversation confidential and free?
Yes. The first WhatsApp conversation is free, fully confidential and carries no obligation. Its purpose is to understand the situation and point you to the right next step.
Do you treat anyone against their will?
No. At Restart the decision comes from the person, because the change that lasts is the one a person chooses. If your loved one refuses treatment, our Quiet Homes program helps the family respond in ways that increase the chance they will accept help.
How do I book?
Send us a WhatsApp message and our coordination team will match you with the right specialist and schedule a time.

Family Programs

How do I deal with someone who refuses treatment?
Confrontation and pressure often increase resistance. Family-engagement programs based on approaches such as CRAFT teach families communication skills and healthy boundaries that make acceptance of treatment more likely and protect the family from burnout. Start with Quiet Homes or the free parents' seminar.
Does my loved one have to be in treatment?
No. Quiet Homes is an independent path for the family; your loved one doesn't need to be in treatment.
How can I tell if my son is using?
Changes in sleep, appetite or mood, social withdrawal, falling performance at school or work, or unexplained money problems can be signs. They are not a diagnosis — speak with a specialist to assess the situation calmly.
Is the parents' seminar really free?
Yes. The parents' seminar is free and held every Saturday. Contact us on WhatsApp to join.

Aftercare

Why do I need aftercare?
The first months after intensive treatment carry the highest relapse risk, as people return to the same triggers and environment. Structured follow-up helps them apply what they learned in real life.
What if a relapse happens?
A relapse does not mean recovery has failed. We treat it as information to adjust the plan, and quickly re-activate the right support.
Can I join aftercare without residential care at Restart?
Yes. Contact us and we'll assess your situation and recommend the right program.

Detox

How long does detox take?
Around 10 days on average; it varies with the substance, length of use and overall health.
Is detox painful?
Withdrawal can be uncomfortable, but medical supervision and supportive treatment ease it considerably and make it safer. No one can promise zero discomfort.
Can detox be done at home?
Sometimes, with medical supervision. Complex cases, or high-dose alcohol or sedative use, may need hospital care. The physician decides after assessment.

Behavioural Addictions

What is a behavioural addiction?
A compulsive pattern of behaviour — such as pornography, gambling or excessive internet use — that continues despite harm and is hard to control, without involving a substance.
Is the program confidential?
Yes, entirely. The program is individual, and confidentiality is a contractual commitment signed by the whole team.
Can it be done online?
Sessions can be online or in person depending on the case and the assessment.

Contact

Is the first conversation confidential and free?
Yes. The first WhatsApp conversation is free, fully confidential and carries no obligation. Its purpose is to understand the situation and point you to the right next step.
Do you treat anyone against their will?
No. At Restart the decision comes from the person, because the change that lasts is the one a person chooses. If your loved one refuses treatment, our Quiet Homes program helps the family respond in ways that increase the chance they will accept help.
How do you protect privacy?
Complete confidentiality is a contractual commitment signed by every team member. No information is shared with the family without the participant's consent.
How quickly can someone be admitted?
After the first conversation and decision, we are ready to admit within 48 hours to three days, depending on the case and travel arrangements.

Crystal meth (shabu)

Can someone fully recover from shabu?
Yes, many people do. Recovery needs structured treatment for long enough — we recommend at least 100 days — with follow-up afterwards.
How long does shabu withdrawal last?
Acute symptoms usually ease within days to two weeks, but cravings and mood swings can last weeks or months — which is why therapy and follow-up matter.
My son uses shabu and refuses treatment. What can I do?
Start with yourself: Quiet Homes teaches families approaches that make acceptance of treatment more likely and protect them from burnout. If there are signs of psychosis or violence, seek emergency help.

Captagon

Is Captagon addictive?
Yes. The active ingredient is usually amphetamine, which causes strong psychological dependence with repeated use.
Can Captagon addiction be treated online?
Mild to moderate cases can start with an online program such as the 100-Day Challenge. More severe cases, or those with acute psychiatric symptoms, need in-person care.
How can I tell if my son uses Captagon?
Sudden changes in sleep, appetite and mood with long nights followed by a crash may be signs, but they are not a diagnosis. Talk calmly with a specialist before confronting him.

Hashish & synthetic cannabis

Is hashish addictive?
Yes. A share of regular users develop cannabis use disorder, and the risk rises with early and daily use.
What's the difference between bango and hashish?
Both come from cannabis: bango is usually dried leaves and flowers, hashish is concentrated resin. Synthetic cannabis is a different — and more dangerous — thing.
Can cannabis addiction be treated from home?
Often yes, through a structured online program with follow-up. The assessment sets the right path.

Tramadol

Is tramadol a narcotic?
It is an opioid medicine controlled in many countries — safe when used as prescribed, but addictive when misused.
How long does tramadol withdrawal last?
Acute symptoms usually last days to two weeks; psychological symptoms can last longer. Supervised tapering eases them.
Does tramadol detox need a hospital?
Not always. After assessment the physician decides between home, clinic or hospital — especially with a history of seizures or mixed substances.

Lyrica (pregabalin)

Is Lyrica addictive?
It can cause dependence at high doses or long use outside medical supervision; the risk is higher for people with a history of addiction.
How long does Lyrica stay in the body?
Most people clear most of it within one to two days, but detection windows vary with dose and test type.
How dangerous is mixing Lyrica and tramadol?
Mixing raises the risk of breathing suppression and heavy sedation — one of the most dangerous patterns. Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty or unresponsiveness.

Alcohol

Can alcohol detox be done at home?
Only in some mild cases and with medical supervision. People with a history of seizures, delirium or very heavy drinking need a hospital.
How long does alcohol withdrawal last?
It usually starts within hours of the last drink, peaks in two to three days and mostly settles within a week with treatment.
Is your treatment confidential?
Yes. Strict confidentiality is a contract signed by the whole team.

Heroin & opioids

Can people recover from heroin?
Yes — with structured medical and psychological treatment, long follow-up and family support.
Why is relapse after detox dangerous?
Because tolerance drops, a previously usual dose can become fatal. That is why detox alone isn't enough without a recovery program and follow-up.
How long does opioid detox take?
Usually days to around two weeks depending on the substance, as set by the physician — followed by rehabilitation.

Sedatives (Xanax & benzodiazepines)

Is Xanax addictive?
It can cause dependence with regular use over weeks or more, which is why it's usually prescribed short-term and monitored.
How long does benzodiazepine tapering take?
It varies widely — weeks to months depending on the drug, dose and length of use. The physician sets the plan.
What can I do instead of sedatives for anxiety?
CBT, sleep regulation, exercise and sometimes non-addictive medicines chosen by your doctor.

How much does addiction treatment in Türkiye cost?

How much does addiction treatment in Türkiye cost?
Cost depends on the type of program, its length and the level of accommodation. At Restart, the online 100-Day Challenge costs $1,050 (Core) or $3,550 (Plus); residential care in Alanya is priced after assessment because it depends on the medical phase, length and accommodation.
Is the price all-inclusive?
The residential package includes the listed services; ask for details in the confidential consultation.
Can I pay in my currency?
Online program prices are in USD and can be shown in your currency at checkout.

How can I tell if my son is using drugs?

How can I tell if my son is using drugs?
There's no single sure sign, but several sudden changes together — in sleep, appetite, mood, friends, money and school performance — deserve attention. It's best to talk calmly with a specialist before confronting him.
Is a home drug test a good idea?
Sometimes, but forcing one suddenly can damage trust. Discuss it with a specialist first.
When is it an emergency?
Unconsciousness, breathing difficulty, hallucinations or thoughts of harming self or others — call emergency services.

Can addiction be treated without a hospital?

Can addiction be treated without a hospital?
Yes, for many mild to moderate cases, through structured outpatient or online programs. But anyone needing withdrawal from alcohol or sedatives, or with medical complications, needs medical supervision — sometimes a hospital.
Do online programs work?
For suitable cases, yes — if they're structured, with regular sessions, follow-up and a support community.

What happens in the first seven days of detox?

What happens in the first seven days of detox?
The first days vary by substance: symptoms usually start within hours to two days, peak early and then gradually ease. Medical supervision relieves symptoms and prevents complications — and after the first week the real work begins: psychological and behavioural treatment.
Is detox painful?
It can be uncomfortable, but medical support eases it a lot. No one can promise zero discomfort.

What is dual diagnosis? Addiction with depression or anxiety

What is dual diagnosis? Addiction with depression or anxiety
Dual diagnosis means a substance use disorder together with another mental health condition such as depression, anxiety or PTSD. Treating one without the other raises relapse risk, so both are treated together in one plan.
Does Restart treat dual diagnosis?
Yes. It's central to our approach in residential and other programs, overseen by addiction psychiatrists.

Residential or outpatient: which suits you?

Residential or outpatient: which suits you?
Residential care suits moderate to severe cases, people who need distance from their environment, or those whose earlier attempts failed. Outpatient or online care suits stable cases who can keep to sessions with support at home.
Can I start outpatient and move to residence?
Yes — the path is adjusted to progress.

Addiction treatment for women: privacy first

Addiction treatment for women: privacy first
Many women delay treatment for fear of stigma. Effective care for women needs complete privacy, a team that understands family and social pressures, and options that start from home online or in a private residence.
Will anyone know about my treatment?
Nothing is shared without your consent; confidentiality is a contract signed by the whole team.

The 12 steps and our Arab and Islamic values

The 12 steps and our Arab and Islamic values
The 12 steps are a recovery framework built on admitting the problem, seeking help, self-accounting, repairing relationships and helping others. These ideas sit close to repentance, trust in God and good companionship, and can be practised in a way that respects faith.
Are the steps mandatory?
No — they're one part of a wider system including psychological and medical care.

How do I persuade someone I love to get treatment?

How do I persuade someone I love to get treatment?
Persuasion rarely works through pressure or threats. Evidence-based approaches such as CRAFT teach families calm communication, rewarding positive behaviour, letting natural consequences happen and choosing the right moment to suggest treatment — which makes acceptance more likely.
Can treatment be forced?
Restart doesn't treat anyone by force — lasting change is chosen.

Treating pornography addiction: signs and steps

Treating pornography addiction: signs and steps
Pornography addiction is a compulsive pattern that's hard to control and continues despite harm to relationships, work and mental health. Treatment rests on understanding triggers, CBT, a healthy routine and a clear plan for slips — in complete confidence.
Can it be treated online?
Yes, sessions can be online depending on the case.

Synthetic cannabis (spice): why it's more dangerous than it looks

Synthetic cannabis (spice): why it's more dangerous than it looks
Synthetic cannabis isn't natural cannabis — it's lab-made chemicals sprayed on plant material. The formula keeps changing and the strength is unpredictable, so it can cause racing heart, panic, seizures and psychosis — even on first use.
Is it legal because it's 'incense'?
No. These synthetic substances are controlled in the Gulf, and the label doesn't change the danger.

A relapse happened — what now?

A relapse happened — what now?
Relapse is common in chronic conditions, including addiction, and doesn't mean treatment failed. The key is getting back to the plan quickly: contact the therapist, understand what led to it, adjust the plan — and remember tolerance may have dropped, making doses more dangerous.
Is returning to residence necessary?
Not always. Assessment decides whether intensive follow-up is enough or a higher level of care is needed.

How long do drugs stay in the body?

How long do drugs stay in the body?
It depends on the substance, amount, length of use and test type. As a general urine-test estimate: stimulants such as meth and amphetamine a few days, opioids one to three days, cannabis days to weeks with chronic use — and hair tests can show months.
Does a test alone prove addiction?
No. A test shows use; addiction is diagnosed by clinical assessment.

Gaming addiction in teenagers: when does it become a problem?

Gaming addiction in teenagers: when does it become a problem?
Gaming becomes a problem when a teenager loses control of their time, puts gaming before sleep, school and relationships, and keeps going despite harm over a long period. The WHO recognises 'gaming disorder' as a diagnosis in ICD-11.
Can it be treated online?
Yes — a 10-day assessment and individual treatment, involving parents.

How to choose the best addiction treatment centre: 10 questions to ask

How to choose the best addiction treatment centre: 10 questions to ask
The best centre is the one that fits the case: a qualified team including a psychiatrist, a written individual plan, enough time, treatment of co-occurring conditions, family involvement and follow-up after discharge — with transparent pricing and no 'cure guarantees'.
Is treatment abroad better?
Not always, but it gives distance and privacy. Program quality and follow-up back home matter most.

Mixing tramadol with pregabalin or sedatives: why it's dangerous

Mixing tramadol with pregabalin or sedatives: why it's dangerous
Combining tramadol with pregabalin (Lyrica), benzodiazepines or alcohol increases suppression of the nervous system and breathing, raising the risk of heavy sedation, unconsciousness and overdose. Tramadol alone can cause seizures at high doses.
Are prescribed medicines safe?
When used as prescribed. The danger is higher doses or mixing without supervision.

After leaving rehab: the first 90 days

After leaving rehab: the first 90 days
The first three months after discharge carry the highest relapse risk, because the person returns to the same environment and triggers. A successful plan includes regular follow-up, a daily routine, a support community, changes at home and in relationships, and a clear plan for any slip.
How long is follow-up?
It varies by case; we recommend continuing for months after discharge.

My husband is addicted — how do I protect myself and my children?

My husband is addicted — how do I protect myself and my children?
Your safety and your children's come first. Find support for yourself, set clear boundaries, and don't carry responsibility for his addiction or cover up its consequences. If there's violence or threats, get help immediately from the relevant authorities.
Should I tell the children?
In age-appropriate words: their father is ill and needs treatment, and it's not their fault.

Is addiction a disease or a lack of willpower?

Is addiction a disease or a lack of willpower?
Major medical bodies describe addiction as a chronic disorder affecting the brain's reward and control circuits, shaped by body, mind and environment. That doesn't remove personal responsibility, but it means willpower alone isn't enough — structured treatment is needed.
Does that mean it can't be overcome?
No. Many live stable lives in recovery, with awareness of triggers and follow-up.

What is Restart's 100-Day Challenge, and who is it for?

What is Restart's 100-Day Challenge, and who is it for?
The 100-Day Challenge is Restart's structured 100-day online recovery program, offered as Core ($1,050) or Plus ($3,550). It suits stable cases who want to start from home or continue after residence; it doesn't replace medical supervision where detox is needed.
What's the difference between the packages?
Full details of each package are on the program page.

What does Saudi narcotics law say about seeking treatment?

What does Saudi narcotics law say about seeking treatment?
Article 42 of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Law provides that no case is brought against a user or addict who comes forward — or whose parent, child, spouse or relative comes forward — to request treatment, provided any substances are handed over or their location disclosed. In March 2025 the Public Prosecution classified methamphetamine (shabu) offences as major crimes requiring detention — making early treatment more important than ever.
Does treatment abroad replace the official route?
Private treatment is a separate health choice. Legal questions about your case belong with a lawyer or the official authority.

Treatment inside Saudi Arabia or abroad? How to decide

Treatment inside Saudi Arabia or abroad? How to decide
Government Eradah mental-health hospitals and complexes provide addiction treatment inside the Kingdom and are a core, free option for citizens. Some families choose treatment abroad for privacy and distance from their surroundings, a private residence and longer stay, or a program with intensive family involvement. The decision depends on severity, the need for privacy and the support available at home.
Do you compete with local centres?
No. Our goal is recovery, and we encourage using any suitable local support.

Shabu and Captagon in the Saudi home: a guide for parents

Shabu and Captagon in the Saudi home: a guide for parents
Captagon and shabu are among the substances parents in the Kingdom ask about most. Both are stimulants: Captagon is sometimes used to stay up or study, so it looks like a 'tool', while shabu causes fast dependence and can trigger psychosis. Watch for days without sleep, weight loss, irritability and suspicion, and repeated requests for money.
My son refuses treatment — should we wait?
Don't wait idly: start the family program and learn approaches that make acceptance more likely.
Is the consultation free?
Yes, the first conversation is free and confidential.

UAE narcotics law and voluntary treatment

UAE narcotics law and voluntary treatment
Federal Decree-Law No. 30 of 2021 (in force since 2 January 2022, as amended) governs narcotics. It sets a treatment and rehabilitation route alongside the criminal one, with no criminal proceedings in cases of voluntary requests for treatment made before arrest under the conditions the law sets, and confidentiality for people in treatment. At the same time, the law requires deportation of foreigners convicted under it in most cases — which makes early treatment especially important for resident families.
Does treatment abroad replace the official route?
Private treatment is a separate health choice. Legal questions about your case belong with a lawyer or the official authority.

Treatment inside the UAE or abroad? How to decide

Treatment inside the UAE or abroad? How to decide
The country has specialised centres such as the National Rehabilitation Centre in Abu Dhabi and Erada Centre for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai, plus private clinics. Some families — citizens and residents alike — choose treatment abroad for distance from their surroundings, a longer residential program with an Arabic-speaking team, or greater privacy. The decision depends on severity, the need for privacy and the support available at home.
Do you compete with local centres?
No. Our goal is recovery, and we encourage using any suitable local support.

Kuwait's new 2025 drug law and voluntary treatment

Kuwait's new 2025 drug law and voluntary treatment
Decree-Law No. 59 of 2025 replaced Kuwait's previous narcotics and psychotropic laws and came into force in mid-December 2025. Article 61 provides that no criminal case is filed against an addict who voluntarily goes to an addiction treatment centre before any complaint or request for prosecution, and the law penalises disclosure of patients' data. The Ministry of Interior announced a hotline (1884141) so families can seek help.
Does treatment abroad replace the official route?
Private treatment is a separate health choice. Legal questions about your case belong with a lawyer or the official authority.

The government Addiction Treatment Center serves patients inside Kuwait, and with the new law the Ministry of Health designated an Addiction Rehabilitation Centre in Sulaibiya. Some families choose private treatment abroad when they want an individual residence, distance from their surroundings, or a longer program that involves the family. The decision depends on severity, the need for privacy and the support available at home.
Do you compete with local centres?
No. Our goal is recovery, and we encourage using any suitable local support.

After the new law: how should Kuwaiti families act?

After the new law: how should Kuwaiti families act?

Voluntary treatment in Qatar and the role of Naufar

Voluntary treatment in Qatar and the role of Naufar
Qatar's Ministry of Interior has stated that no criminal case is filed against a drug user who comes forward voluntarily for treatment, and the Public Prosecution signed a cooperation protocol with Naufar in 2021. Treatment inside Qatar or abroad? How to decide

Treatment inside Qatar or abroad? How to decide
Naufar is the main national option inside Qatar, offering inpatient and outpatient care. Some Qatari families choose treatment abroad because the community is small and privacy is sensitive, or because they want a private, longer stay away from their surroundings. The decision depends on severity, the need for privacy and the support available at home.
Do you compete with local centres?
No. Our goal is recovery, and we encourage using any suitable local support.

A small community, a big need for privacy: a guide for Qatari families

Does Bahraini law protect people who seek treatment voluntarily?

Does Bahraini law protect people who seek treatment voluntarily?
Bahrain's narcotics law includes a provision allowing drug users to avoid prosecution when they come forward voluntarily for treatment, while legal action follows if they are caught. Specialists therefore advise families to use the voluntary-treatment route early, and to check the detailed conditions with the official authority or a lawyer.
